No. Farmington runs town-cart curbside collection and there is no municipal drop-off for residents. That is the single most useful thing to know before planning a clear-out here — there's no free option to compare us against, only the cart and its limits.
Can I put renovation debris in the town cart?
No. Farmington's own guidance is explicit: no bulk items, no construction debris, no hazardous or flammable materials in the cart. That's what a can on the driveway or a crew visit is for.
What if I just need one more cart?
The town sells them — $100 one-time for an additional recycling cart, $120 plus the annual special tax charge for a trash cart. Worth knowing, because for a slow ongoing declutter an extra cart beats calling anybody.
Can I take cleanout debris to the Farmington transfer station myself?
No — Farmington's station doesn't accept construction and demolition debris, per the town's own published materials list. The DIY route means a private C&D facility; on our jobs the debris leaves in our own cans and that problem never reaches you.

Refrigerators, freezers, ACs, and dehumidifiers are fine, but the refrigerant has to be removed (or already removed) per EPA rules — we can document this on pickup.
Do I need to be home for the pickup?
Not always — depends on the job. For interior cleanouts where the crew needs access through the house, yes. For driveway, garage, or yard pickups where items are already accessible, often no — we coordinate on the call. Estate cleanouts and tenant-out scenarios where the family or property manager isn't on-site work fine if access and scope are pre-confirmed.
