Truck-space pricing stops being abstract the moment you map it onto actual living rooms:
- One couch, one recliner, or one dresser → $179 (minimum load). The single-piece pickup that per-item companies nickel-and-dime is our floor price, flat.
- Couch + loveseat, or a mattress-and-frame bedroom teardown → $239 (1/8 truck). The most-booked furniture tier there is.
- A small bedroom — bed, dresser, nightstands, the closet overflow → $359 (1/4 truck). Canonical description straight from the tier ladder: "Small bedroom contents, or a few bulky items"
- A living room plus a dining set, or the furniture half of a move-out → $559 (1/2 truck), and the ladder keeps climbing in small steps from there.
The crew confirms the tier at the door, before loading — and if you add pieces mid-job ("actually, take the bookshelf too"), the re-tier is agreed out loud before it happens. Stairs, walkups, and long carries never move the number; truck space is truck space.
The donation question, answered honestly
"Can this go to charity instead of the dump?" is the best question in furniture removal, and it deserves a straighter answer than most haulers give. The honest half: charities say no more often than people expect. Sleeper sofas (weight), anything upholstered with visible wear, glass-top tables (liability), and most flat-pack pieces get declined at intake.
