Not on the junk truck: concrete, brick, asphalt, dirt, soil, sod, rock, sand, gravel, tree limbs, and stumps. When a Danbury job has real volume of those — a stone-wall demo, a patio tear-out — we drop a dumpster instead, sized with the correct weight allowance for heavy debris.

Hazardous waste (paint, motor oil, gasoline, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, asbestos, biohazard material, lithium batteries) never rides on the truck either. The odd one out

The structural difference worth understanding: the surrounding towns generally run municipal stations where residents dump household junk under town-set terms. Danbury residents don't have that option — bulky waste means a private waste company at rates it sets itself. That's not a knock on anyone; it's the fact pattern, and it changes the do-it-yourself math that works elsewhere in the region.
