Do I need a permit for the Glastonbury facilities?
Yes — a Refuse Permit, valid July 1 to June 30, bought at either facility or at Town Hall. Residents without one can still dispose for a fee with proof of Glastonbury residency, so a one-off trip isn't blocked.
What are the Transfer Station hours?
Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, closed Sunday and Monday. From mid-March to mid-September Wednesdays run to 7:00 PM. The Bulky Waste Facility is Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
