Is winter a bad time to remove a hot tub?
A dead tub that sat full through a freeze is a block of ice, and ice doesn't pump. If the tub already died, drain it before hard frost even if removal waits until spring. Beyond that, we cut tubs year-round — cold bothers the crew less than a wasp nest under the skirt in August does.
Can you remove a hot tub that's built into a deck?
Usually, yes. Deck-mounted tubs come apart in place — shell cut into sections, frame unbolted, everything walked out. If freeing the tub means cutting structural deck framing, that's a deck-removal conversation and we'll quote both parts before anyone starts cutting.
Do you take in-ground spas?
In-ground concrete or gunite spas are a different animal — that's excavation and fill, which we coordinate through our licensed demolition partner rather than self-perform. The above-grade acrylic and rotomolded tubs are the ones our own crew handles.
My tub is behind a fence in a tight backyard — can you still get it out?
