Here's a fact about our fleet that makes the driveway conversation the easiest part of booking: every size we rent takes the exact same spot. Every can we run is 15 ft × 8 ft — about the length of one parking spot — whether you book the smallest package or the biggest.
What changes with the size is the height of the walls (3-foot walls on the 10-yard, 4-foot on the 15, 5-foot on the 20) and the weight allowance included in your price. The spot in your driveway never changes. So you can stop measuring and start sizing by what actually matters: how much your debris weighs.
The spot never changes. Weight is what you're buying.
Every package lands on the same 15 ft × 8 ft patch of driveway — the size you book raises the walls, not the footprint. That means the placement question is answered before you pick a size, and what your price actually sets is the weight allowance we include when the load crosses the transfer-station scale:
- 10-yard — $447, includes 1,000 lbs of disposal
- 15-yard — $547, includes 2,000 lbs of disposal
- 20-yard — $647, includes 4,000 lbs of disposal
- 30/40-yard — $899, includes 6,000 lbs of disposal
The honest other half: weight past your allowance bills at $0.10 per pound — even if the can looks half full. Light, bulky loads — furniture, boxes, household junk — almost never touch the allowance. Dense loads — tile, plaster, roofing, concrete-adjacent anything — hit the scale long before they hit the walls. Either way you know the rate going in, because the transfer station charges by the pound and so do we, passed through without markup.

Add-on charges reflect actual transfer-station and disposal fees passed through to you — we don't mark up overweight, extra items, or disposal costs.

What can’t go in the dumpster
- Paint, solvents, oil, household chemicals (route through CT DEEP hazardous waste)
- Batteries — any kind, lithium especially
- Asbestos-containing materials (specialized hauler required)
- Tires (route to a tire dealer or pay $50/each disposal fee if loaded)
- Medical waste
- Liquids of any kind
- Customer is responsible for re-routing prohibited items. See everything we can't legally haul in a can.
What you see is what you book — no zone pricing, no driveway surcharges, no weekend delivery fees. Standard charges for overweight, extension days, and certain prohibited items disclosed above and confirmed at booking.

Every can has a big rear swing door with a low step. Open it, walk the heavy stuff straight in — sleeper sofas, dressers, appliances — and stack the light material on top. No breaking furniture down to fit it over a wall, no lifting a washer chest-high, no ramp improvisation.
Load heavy-first through the door and the can packs denser and safer, which is exactly what you want when the weight is metered.

There's a quiet mechanical benefit to fleet standardization, and it plays out on your street:
- Every placement is predictable. One footprint means dispatch never routes around "will it fit" — the driveway answer is the same answer on every job, so routes get built around geography, not equipment guesswork.
- Wrong-size swap trips mostly don't exist here. Need a bigger allowance mid-job? That's usually a phone call, not a truck rolling out to exchange cans — and every trip that doesn't happen is a trip off the system.
- Fewer total truck miles on local roads. A standardized fleet spends fewer miles repositioning equipment, and that efficiency is part of how our prices stay where they are.

Will a bigger can take more driveway space?
No. Every size we run takes the identical 15 ft × 8 ft footprint — about the length of one parking spot. Booking a bigger size package raises the walls (3-foot walls on the 10-yard, 4-foot on the 15, 5-foot on the 20) and the included weight allowance — it never lengthens or widens the spot the can takes in your driveway.
If I only fill it halfway, is there a charge?
There's no charge for unused space. What you're buying is your size package's included weight allowance: 1,000 lbs on the 10-yard, 2,000 lbs on the 15-yard, 4,000 lbs on the 20-yard, 6,000 lbs on the 30/40-yard. Weight past that allowance bills at $0.10 per pound — even if the can looks half full. Dense debris like tile, plaster, and shingles hits the scale long before it reaches the walls.
Can I upgrade my size after delivery?
Usually, yes — call (203) 219-8855 and we adjust your package to the allowance that fits what you're actually loading. In most cases that's a phone call, not a second delivery.

Because a fleet that shares one footprint works better for everyone. The driveway answer is the same answer on every job, so dispatch builds routes around geography instead of can-measuring, and a size change is usually handled by phone instead of a swap trip. Is the 30/40-yard tier the same footprint too?
Yes — times two. We don't run a single physical 30- or 40-yard container; the 30/40 tier is delivered as two of our 20-yard cans, either side by side, split across two locations, or one at a time with a swap when the first fills. Same combined capacity, and each placement still takes only about the length of one parking spot.
