The dense-debris math
The allowance system is simple: each size includes a disposal weight; past it you pay $0.10 per pound, which is the transfer station's scale rate passed through unmarked-up. Where renovations meet it:
- Tile + mortar bed: a 100-sq-ft mud-set bathroom floor can run several hundred pounds on its own.
- Plaster and lath: figure roughly double the weight of the equivalent drywall demo — prewar gut jobs are the classic overage load.
- Flooring tear-up: hardwood + underlayment is moderate; tile-over-slab scraping is dense.
- Drywall, framing, cabinets: the friendly stuff — volume-limited, almost never a weight problem.
Two honest levers when the debris is dense: keep the heaviest material to a size where the allowance fits the real load (and budget the published overage for the remainder), or split streams — dense demo in one can, light debris in the next. - Asbestos-containing materials (specialized hauler required)
- Tires (route to a tire dealer or pay $50/each disposal fee if loaded)
- Medical waste
- Liquids of any kind

What you see is what you book — no zone pricing, no driveway surcharges, no weekend delivery fees. Standard charges for overweight, extension days, and certain prohibited items disclosed above and confirmed at booking.
Renovation-week logistics
The can outlasts the demo weekend. 7 days are included; renovation slippage is why extensions exist ($15/day, by phone). Most kitchen and bath jobs run demo in days one and two and use the rest of the window for the debris that trickles out of a live renovation.
Driveway placement, protected. Every can we run shares one 15-by-8-foot footprint — a parking spot. Plywood under the rails is cheap insurance on decorative driveways; ask and the driver places on boards.
