The 15-yard sits between a single-room job and a full renovation. Pick it when the work spans more than one room, or when one room produces a lot of light, bulky debris: a kitchen with all its cabinets, a garage that hasn't been cleared in years, a move-out where the furniture isn't going with you.
It has 2,000 lbs included, double the 10-yard, which covers most mixed household loads without any overage.
Jobs that fit a 15-yard
- A kitchen tear-out. Cabinets, counters, flooring and the drywall behind them.
- A two-car garage or a full basement of furniture, boxes and old equipment.
- A move-out or downsizing where most of the furniture is staying behind.
- A medium roof, about 6 squares of asphalt shingles within the 2,000-lb allowance.
- Deck boards and railings from a small to mid-size wood deck.

What $647 covers
- Delivery and pickup anywhere in Westchester County
- Disposal of everything in the load, up to 2,000 lbs (1 ton)
- 7 days on site; each extra day is $15
- Weight past the allowance bills at $0.10 per pound
That's the Connecticut rate for this size plus a $100 partner-service rate. Westchester jobs are fulfilled by licensed, insured local partners and coordinated by Grizzly; the weight allowance, rental window and overage rate are the same as Connecticut.
Hold the $647 price
Send a lock-in request and our office calls you during business hours (Mon–Fri 8 AM – 4 PM) to confirm and take payment. Credit card only.
Between sizes?
If you're choosing between a 15 and a 20, think about how many rooms are being emptied or gutted. Two rooms and a hallway usually fit a 15. A whole floor, or a renovation where the walls come down too, belongs in a 20. If the debris is mostly tile, plaster or shingles, size by weight instead: 2,000 lbs is about 6 squares of roofing.
How booking works in Westchester
There's no online checkout for Westchester. You send a lock-in request with your address, date and size, and the $647 price is held. Our office calls you during business hours (Mon–Fri 8 AM – 4 PM) to confirm your order and take payment by phone. Credit card only. Your dumpster is booked once payment is confirmed.
Next-day delivery or service is standard. Same-day is sometimes possible. Call before 10 AM to check. You still call Grizzly. Our office handles your booking, pricing, and follow-up.
Placement. A driveway drop usually needs no permit. If the dumpster has to sit on the street, check with your village, town or city about a permit before delivery day, and mention it in your request.
Not accepted. The same materials rules as Connecticut apply: no concrete, brick, asphalt pavement, dirt, rock or stumps. The full list of what can't go in a dumpster covers the rest. Grizzly Bags aren't offered in New York; for a small pile, junk removal is the other option.
15-Yard dumpster questions from Westchester
Will a kitchen remodel fit in a 15-yard?
For most kitchens, yes: cabinets, counters, flooring and drywall together. Appliances are better handled separately, and refrigerators and freezers carry a handling fee because of the refrigerant.
How much weight is included with a Westchester 15-yard?
2,000 lbs (1 ton), the same allowance as in Connecticut. Past that it's $0.10 per pound.
Why does the Westchester 15-yard cost $100 more than in Connecticut?
Westchester jobs are fulfilled by our licensed local partners; the partner-service rate covers that. Everything else — weight allowance, rental window, overage rates — is identical to Connecticut.
How long can I keep it?
7 days are included. Each extra day is $15; tell the office before the last day if the job is running long.
