Whole-Home Cleanout in Wilton, CT
Multi-load, scheduled around your date. Fairfield County.

Whole-home work in Wilton is the highest-volume residential job we run, and the one where the customer is most involved. You're in the house while we work, pointing at rooms, changing your mind about the dresser. That's normal and it's why we quote in days rather than hours — a job with live decisions in it moves differently from one where the list is fixed before we arrive.

Clearing a whole property in Wilton
Wilton whole-home volume is ordinary; the access is not. Nod Hill, Drum Hill, Belden Hill and North Wilton are wooded lots with long driveways, and one a full-size truck can't turn in means shuttling loads to a staging point — time rather than tonnage, and the main variable in a Wilton day count. Wilton Center and South Wilton are more conventional. Cannondale, Georgetown and Silvermine bring older, smaller houses where narrow stairs and small doorways slow the carry regardless of how much is in the building.
We work across Wilton Center, Cannondale, Georgetown and Silvermine, in a town of about 18,500.
We have 420 job records in Wilton since 2019 — dumpster drops, junk removal and cleanouts of every kind, not whole-home jobs specifically.
How a whole-property clear runs
Walk it, then commit to days. Whole-home is the one job where the estimate is a schedule, not just a price. We count truckloads, look at the access, and tell you how many days it takes before you book anything.
Rooms in sequence, not everything at once. We start furthest from the door and work toward it, so the path out stays clear and the last load is the shortest carry. On multi-day jobs we finish whole rooms rather than skimming the house — you get usable space back each evening.
You're there, and that's the point. Unlike an estate job, the person who knows the house is standing in it. We check before anything ambiguous goes on the truck, and changing your mind mid-room costs nothing.
Around the movers, not into them. If a moving company is coming, we clear before or after but not during. Two crews in one stairwell is how things get broken.
Cost
A full property runs three to six truckloads. A full truck is $979; partial loads step down the ladder, with a 1/2 truckload (~10 yd³) at $559.
The honest comparison at this size is against a container. A 20-yard roll-off is $647 with 4,000 lbs included and 7 days to fill it; overage past the allowance is $0.1/lb at the transfer-station rate. If you have people and time, a can alone is the cheapest way to empty a house. If you have neither, the crew is the point. Most whole-home jobs we run are the middle option — crew and can together.
No flat price. The load count comes from the walkthrough and the number comes from the load count.
Access and timing
No building management, no dock window, no lobby rules. The constraint is the driveway and the door width, both of which get settled at the walkthrough.
On timing: we schedule to your date rather than from today, and we stay off the movers' day. That's the whole of it.
