Founded in 2014 by Justin Hubbard and Ronald Occhino, The Grizzly Junk Pros are a family-owned and operated small business proudly serving the Fairfield, New Haven, and Westchester County Communities. We offer high-quality and eco-friendly junk solutions, with a special emphasis on superior customer service and attention to detail. Our History

Founded in 2014

Ronald (left) and Justin (right) after picking up the very first junk-mobile. One truck and a mission of helping the immediate community rid themselves of junk and other unwanted items from their property. Company was originally called "Stamford Junk Pros" and many of our clients still know us as this.

Donation Focused

Here we are at Stamford High School donating a beautiful conference room table we picked up from an office clean out job from a building in downtown Stamford. We also gathered as much office supplies as possible for donation as well. Finding a second home for items is a win for everyone.

2016 Westchester County, Ny

Pictured is our first dump truck and the team working in our newly expanded service area of Westchester County, NY. Being that our HQ is in Stamford CT, many of our clients needed help across the border as well. So we looked into it and applied for our Westchester County Solid Waste permit and got accepted!

2017 Our First Office

Before this point we only had a truck and a parking space. But as the company continued to grow, we need a space for tools, equipment, and not to mention a bathroom for the team! There were no windows because this was a storage room converted into an office just for us (after a lot of persistence). The Junk Pros HQ was finally established.

2017 New Life Warehouse

We quickly learned that the charitable organizations had limited space for items. And since we started getting turned away with trucks full of good stuff, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We created this division of the business in an ongoing effort to find good items a second home and work with charities from our own warehouse.

2018 Dumpster Rentals

We started the dumpster rental division of the company from the many inquiries from our existing customers. We said, what the heck, let's try it out. We purchased one hook-lift dumpster truck and 3 roll-off dumpsters to test it out. We immediately sold out and starting ordering more and more dumpsters to fill demand.

2019

We quickly added to our fleet! We're grateful for every customer that puts their trust in our service. Anyone can deliver a dumpster, but our excellent customer service and communication is what really sets us apart from the competition.

2020 Grizzly Bags

After a few prototypes we landed on the large square shape 8 cubic yard dumpster bag. We called it the Grizzly Bag for it's incredibly strong industrial strength. This is now one our most popular types of dumpster options!

2023 The Growing Fleet

During the economic shutdown in 2020, we weren't able to grow. Buying dumpsters and trucks was nearly impossible to find. The materials to make these types of equipment was really scarce. But in 2023 we added another truck to the fleet and continued our path to helping even more people!
